Hi all, i've decided not to post so frequently thesedays. It's real tiring and honestly - the phase is over. Once there was a time where everyone would get so oo~ aa~ over the blogging craze... but now, argh.... died down..
Exams are approaching soon. Thanks all loyal readers of my blog, i'll still blog of course, but be sure to check like once a month... heh unless really exciting/happening things forces me to relate it onto the net... anywayz, dun worry my frenz, i still read all your blogs frequently, so you guys continue to update yours!! change ur skin, music wadever! interest me! ^_^
Ah~ i changed music AGAIN. I can't stand the same music playing over and over again you see.... EXCECPT for [HANA] by Orange Range... heh btw you guys like this song? I love it, can play it continuously for like 10X!
Well er that isn't the POINT. heh the point is, exams are approaching and i really want to go for the overseas attachment thing and there're so many things undone here and i'm feeling like a mad woman. Also, not to mention i feel like i'm bursting into flames coz' it's so freakin hot today!
Have fun studying guys. I need to be motivated.

Baka a.k.a Paboya updates:
TUK-TUK POWER IS HERE!!!! gosh i'm so obsessed with the tuk-tuk these days! (FYI, tuk-tuk is the mini taxis in thailand, they're really cute and so is their name! MUAHAHA) well anyway after seating in the tuk-tuk, i'm totally smitten with it! Also, esp when it drives up slope, its engine goes *VROOMMMMMMMM* and i like to imitate it by going "TUK-TUK power!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" it's really fun yea~
PHUKET was lovely, fantastic, superb. The seas are breath-taking, the scenary a picturesque. if tt's how u spell it. pple have been jokingly warning me of the tsunami after effects, about how dead bodies will be buried in the sands.. but what i see the purification the the natural disaster has created. the seas are once more abundant with life and the water so blue and green that i can just seat by the sea side and stare at the roaring waves splash over and over again as if it were a lullaby. I'd never be sick of the sea. It amazes me what wonder the ocean can do.
As for the town people, they're a bunch of nice people, except for those really desperate to make a living. Some are so persistent they'd grab me and hold on and keep asking me how much i'm willing to pay. "how much? u tell me how much?" keeps repeating in my mind. i'm truly sad for them but hey, thais have a special gift of arts n craft. y not make a living utilizing their skills instead of trying to earn just barely enough for the day?
Anyway, shopping at phuket was really fun, except for those treacherous nincompoops who think tourists these days have no brain. they slaughter us with huge huge prices and then when you're taking ur leave they become desperate and say "ok ok, i give u cheaper" and just when you're about to take another look, they give u just 50 baht discount (FYI, 50 baht is like 2 bucks SGD) this is ridiculous, esp when they first set their price 10 times the cost price. hey, to make a living doesn't mean you have to scare away your customers ok. we're not stupid.
We stayed at KATATHANI, just next to the KATA NOI beach. gosh altho our beach was the smallest, it was the most beautiful. the sunrise, sunsets - marvelous~ I was really surprised coz' after sun-tanning with my bro for the entire afternoon and treating ourselves to some thai-style massage, my dad came to tell me tt he received a birthday cake for me. woah~ these people really do take a second look at your birthday. i'm so glad they're such thoughtful people! My bro also got a cake on the day we left but apparently they aren't such fantastic cake bakers so we gave to cake to our driver. lol he must be wondering the cake given to him has a "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" written on it. *evil laughter*
Too bad we only went a 4d3n, there wasn't enough time for me to shop for all my friends. i'm sorry all, i promise if i ever go abroad i'll try to get u all something ^_^ i gtg now, do french!!!! later still have to go sch for french. ARGH
take careeeee~

Baka a.k.a Paboya updates:
This recent week has been so hectic i hardly got to sleep more than 5 hours a day! gosh the bazaar, classes from 8-8 and all the contacting with the supplier and making trips here and there... i'm so relieved everything is over now! I was rather sad that we only made 5 bucks each for the bazaar but it was considered rather good considering our cost was high and alot of others made losses.... sigh.. what a lousy bazaar! but it was an experience tho... now i have something to write about in my IS module..
Friday night we had a class bbq and we went to west coast park at around 8+pm... it was considered rather late but the fire wasn't even started. LOL but considering the efficiency and cooperation of everyone, the result of our hard work paid off. We were all scrambling to eat the first batch of food. Practically, we're a swarm of sharks... a hungry bunch of sharks that'll devour anything served onto the plate. even semi-raw food. HAH Benji's cooking was actually really good at the beginning but hmm... it sorta took a turn towards the end of the bbq, with really rare/raw food served to us! of course everyone complained but it was just for fun... we all understand the guys' efforts to cook delicious food for us.
Dr Zaman came around 9+, which was quite late but she came from sch! Poor lecturer, so busy that she has to stay in school till so late! but we're glad she made an effort to come by anywayz. In the midst of our conversation, kenrick suddenly rushed over to me and started asking me about anime and manga stuff so we chatted really like vigorously, me being unaware of what's going around... then!...... people started singing "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU~ HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU~~" i was wondering huh?! who's birthday!? until they reached the part : "Happy birthday to AMANDA~~" i was bewildered! OH!! so kenrick was sent as a decoy to distract me! LOL but aww~ i didn't really believe they'd buy a cake on tt day to celebrate for me! no wonder they were late!~! and kareen called me to make sure i was coming... LOL what nice buddies!
I'm so grateful to the guys for making this the best 19th bdae for me~ it was truly a surprise. honestly, i have never been so surprised in my life. in birthday celebration wise. my 18th bdae was a tragedy if not jasmine saved me from hell. but my last teen birthday, my 19th bdae was celebrated so joyously!! sigh* i can't thank my classmates more! esp all of them were tired out from the bazaar!
This is the list of pple who were there at the bbq and i'd like to thank them for all their effort and give them a big big hug!!! thanks guys! i'm so fortunate to be in the same class as you guys! ^_*
